One of the really exciting and interesting features of collecting and breeding Boas is the result of selective breeding, putting together colours and creating something different, but also knowing where not to mix up the gene pool.
Although some hobbyists will disapprove of introducing new genes into an existing line, there can be do doubt that the results can be outstanding. For example the combination of a hypo with a Hog Island, leading to the creation of the Sunset Boa, produces something that in our humble opinion is worthy of creation. As will be seen from our site, we have 3 Hog Island Boas, from which we plan to produce our own line as well as creating a separate line of morphs. We also bought in a Het sunset and a Hypo Jungle (Jungle crossed with a Sunset) to give us a variety within this morph, and as the starting point for other projects
